Damian Daley is the managing partner of DLF Attorneys. He has achieved an AV® Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, a testament to the fact that his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence. Prior to founding DLF Attorneys, Mr. Daley was a partner in one of Florida's most prominent civil defense litigation law firms, where he represented Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, small businesses and individuals. He actively litigates in both state and federal courts, representing clients in several areas of civil litigation including: products liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, general liability, premises liability, business and commercial litigation and first-party insurance litigation.

 

Examples of prior and current representation include:

 

• Trial counsel for major retailer in one of the largest recalls in the nation. Successfully obtained a dismissal of breach of warranty claims and directed verdict on consortium claims in federal court trial.

 

• Trial counsel for Australian based insurance company for breach of contract, successfully obtaining defense verdict at trial.

 

• Successfully obtained numerous summary judgments for local hospitals in premises liability actions.

 

• Successfully obtained summary judgment for small business contractor in a tortious interference of business relationship case pending in federal court.

 

• Served as litigation counsel for several local and national security, retail and restaurant establishments.

• Successfully vacated a default trial judgment in excess of 20 million dollars on behalf of a corporate client leading to an amicable resolution of all claims against company and CEO.

 

• Successfully obtained a jury verdict in favor of accounting firm in a breach of contract case, including securing corporate client's entitlement to attorney's fees. 

 

Damian is known among his clients and peers for finding creative solutions to complex problems. He draws on both his personal and professional experience to design litigation strategies for individuals and businesses.
